“October 2007 Letter #2”

THE FOLLOWING EXCERPTS are from a letter (dated October 17, 2007) that I had E-mailed to a number of addressees:

 

            I would like to pass on to a number of E-Mail addressees a great quotation, and some information from the Autumn 2007 issue of “The Gospel Catholic” newsletter.

 

            First, here is that great quotation by President John Fitzgerald Kennedy (JFK), made in a speech to the “Press Club”:

 

            “The very word ‘SECRECY’ is repugnant in a free and open society. And we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to SECRET societies, to SECRET oaths, and to SECRET proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweigh the dangers which are cited to justify it.”

 

Ed. Comments to the preceding quote:

 

(1) Please do some research on the HORRIBLE higher-level “SECRET” oaths of the Jesuits and Knights of Columbus. SECRET and/or semi-SECRET societies (such as the Jesuit Order, which is headquartered in Rome) withhold a lot of key information from their own members at the lower levels. In other words, the “behind-the-scenes” plans, goals, and activities of these “SECRET” societies are rarely, if ever, revealed to their own members at the lower levels.

 

(2) We would all do well to heed the warning given by President Kennedy concerning SECRET societies, SECRET oaths, and SECRET proceedings – none of which should be permitted in our American Republic! SECRET societies are UNAMERICAN and should be EXPELLED from our shores!

 

(3) An example of some infamous “SECRET proceedings” are the two meetings held by European monarchs (with the blessings of the Papacy) in the 19th century where plans were made for the DESTRUCTION of the American Constitutional Republic: the Congress of Vienna in 1814-15, and the meetings at Verona, Italy in 1822. High-level Jesuits also held a meeting at Chieri, Italy in 1825 for the same purpose.

My comments concerning the above tract “comparison”:

 

I believe that this tract provides a rather good and concise summary of the differences between “Bible-believing Christianity” and “Roman Catholicism” – and that is how I would have titled those two columns. To the Roman Catholic “column” for “history” we could add: Inquisition, mass murder, religious genocide, fomenting of wars and revolutions, assassinations of heads of State, and hatred of liberty. (One of the best books for showing Roman Catholics the major differences between Bible-believing Christianity and Roman Catholicism is “Roman Catholicism” by Dr. Lorraine Boettner. Here is some information about this 466-page paperback book: It was published in 1962; publisher: The Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing Company; ISBN 0-87552-092-8; and it is $15 postage paid from “The Conversion Center”. IMPORTANT NOTE about Boettner’s book: It has been both my experience and the experience of my friends (who are former Roman Catholics) that Boettner’s book is generally well received by Roman Catholics. Boettner’s writing style is not offensive to most Roman Catholics – thus I highly recommend that you purchase as many copies of this excellent book as you possibly can, and then give those copies to, or loan them to, the Roman Catholics that you know.

 

            If anyone considers the tract “comparison” (found in “The Gospel Catholic” newsletter) between Biblical Christianity and Roman Catholicism “harsh”, then I would like to remind such individuals of the following:

 

(1) Papal Rome brought planet Earth 605 years of “official” Inquisition, from 1203 to 1808, that included the most gruesome tortures and the mass murder of millions (e.g., up to 50 MILLION innocent Bible-believing Christians were MURDERED just during this timeframe). NOTE: If you would like more information on the “Inquisition” (including the 20th century Inquisition in Croatia in the early 1940s), then I most highly recommend that you purchase the 58-minute color DVD “The Inquisition” for $6 postage paid. (2) Papal Rome launched military “crusades” against innocent Bible-believing population groups, such as the Albigensian Christians in southern France (whom she exterminated), and the Waldensian Christians in southeastern France and northwestern Italy. MILLIONS of innocent Bible-believing Christians were slaughtered by these Papal armies! (3) Papal Rome ruled continental Europe during the “Dark Ages” – keeping the common people in DARKNESS, ignorance, poverty, and superstition! The Papacy crowned and deposed kings and emperors; it forbade the Bible to be possessed or read by the common man in his native language; and education for centuries was reserved for only a relatively small group of “scholars”. Indeed, for centuries Papal Rome (through her “marriages” to various rulers) supported tyrannical regimes, Feudalism, and serfdom.

 

(4) Papal Rome has long exalted her man-made traditions (e.g., auricular confession to an authorized priest, mandatory celibacy for priests and nuns, infallibility of popes in their official pronouncements on morals and doctrine, purgatory, transubstantiation, etc.) which contradict the clear teachings of the Holy Bible. (Again, Boettner’s book “Roman Catholicism” is excellent for contrasting Papal Rome’s doctrines with what the Holy Bible teaches.)

 

(5) SECRECY has long been the standard mode of operation at Papal Rome, especially as concerns her Jesuit Order, the Jesuit-controlled Knights of Malta, much of Papal Rome’s “behind-the-scenes” financial activities, etc.

 

(6) Papal Rome continually strives after political power and wealth. She has been guilty of fomenting revolutions and wars (including two world wars), and of assassinating heads of State, such as President Lincoln. If you doubt that Papal Rome had her fingerprints all over the Lincoln assassination, then please visit website www.ctwilcox.com and take a look at the book “The Transformation of the Republic: The Origins of the Religious Hi-Jacking of the American Government and the Truth Behind the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln” by C.T. Wilcox (as mentioned earlier in this letter – it is a must-read book for those who would like to learn the TRUTH about Papal Rome’s – and especially the Jesuit Order’s – involvement in the assassination of President Lincoln).

Finally, here is a thought-provoking Bible verse with a comment by me:

 

            “And I [i.e., the LORD God Almighty] sought for a MAN among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found NONE.” (Ezekiel 22:30)

 

Ed. Comment to the preceding Bible verse: The LORD God Almighty is STILL looking for a “few good MEN” (and WOMEN) to oppose evil, resist tyranny, to make up the hedge, and to stand in the gap so that He does not have to destroy America! I wonder how many of us will be held quite strictly accountable for NOT exposing Papal Rome’s false doctrines, bloody history of torture and mass murder, and hatred of all the freedoms that we hold so dear here in America. I’m sure that there are many excuses that can be advanced for our failure to expose Papal Rome, such as “we must have unity”, “we must not offend the sensitivities of Roman Catholics”, etc. But then, I wonder if Almighty GOD is going to “buy” any of these “excuses” of ours. Papal Rome has NOT changed, and the Office of Inquisition STILL exists – and Papal Rome DID make plans to DESTROY our American Constitutional Republic back in the 19th century. She helped to foment the American Civil War; she backed the Confederacy; and, she assassinated President Abraham Lincoln and then protected one of the arch conspirators, John Harrison Surratt. Should not the American people be informed about all this, and warned about the grave threat that Papal Rome poses to our American Constitutional Republic?
